Semi-D on Phase U5

Owned by Worldwide Holdings Berhad, the 5.34 acre site consists of 26 units of Semi-D housing type. The overall area of the site is about 10.30 acres (5.34 for development, 4.38 acres for a football field and 0.58 acre for public parking). The challenge is to design the façade treatment by considering the needs of the current market, the design trend (high-end standard), affordability and within the allocation of development cost in order to achieve the required space, floor area and also to get the practical internal circulation.

The development should be grand, modern and contemporary with the potential use of natural stone, aluminium, cast iron, steel and glass. The façade treatment is aimed to be iconic with the objective of creating a landmark with good visibility from the surrounding roads. The combination of vertical and horizontal elements such as concrete copping, sun-shading, groove and linings, glass wall, straight and recessed etc to create more interesting façade treatments. The use of solid and void effects helps soften the overall facade.
