It is located in the capital city of George Town, on the Penang Island. The site area is approximately 259 acres and is located to the west of the town. It is a masterplan project that could create a vibrant new destination as the thriving centre for culture, commerce and recreation. The development is to make Penang the geographical capital of the Northern Region of Malaysia between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok and in the “Indonesia, Malaysia &Thailand Growth Triangle” (IMTGT).

The proposed development is to include a convention centre, philharmonic hall, commercial buildings, high end residential, a hotel tower, exclusive health care centre, leisure and entertainment park and others.

The masterplan prioritises open space as a first principle and bequeaths upon the community 140 acres of parklands. These parklands also serve as the center of connectivity that ties the project’s residential, commercial, cultural and public uses area. Large urban greens provide a social canvas for a host of events, informal gathering and casual recreation while playing fields provide dedicated space for athletic activities and recreation. The civic park culminates in a tramway and hiking trails that link the lower densely developed area to the site’s highest point which houses a bungalow hotel and restaurant with extraordinary panoramic views of the city of Georgetown and the coastline.
