  1. Ar. Mohd Farez Mustapha
    Arkitek Aliran Cipta Sdn Bhd
    Moderator
Exposed to architecture since childhood, Ar. Farez Mustapha initially resisted its call during his formative secondary school days in SDAR, Seremban. Instead he pondered the future possibilities of making a mark through the field of either scientific research, journalism or even theatre. Upon realizing that architecture has the same investigative rigours combined with stage setting for real life drama, he eventually surrendered to its calling.

After graduating from UiTM Shah Alam in 2002, Ar. Farez learned the architectural ropes in Pakatan Arkitek Sdn. Bhd. for several years before deciding to complete his formal studies at UPM Serdang in 2012. Since then, he has continued his career path with Arkitek Aliran Cipta Sdn. Bhd. and was made its Associate Director after receiving his LAM Part III in 2019.

In between his everyday practice, Ar. Farez has been involved in both LAM and PAM sub committees in organizing CPD events and producing promotional materials. An occasional writer, he has won first prize for the WCSC 2012 Essay Competition, and his short story published in the 2021 KISAH Futures Anthology organised by UNDP Malaysia.

Viewing architecture as a lifelong learning experience; Ar. Farez feels blessed to have been involved in an eclectic mix of projects and opportunities thus far. He hopes the knowledge and wisdom gained will continue to set him on a path that will benefit and inspire goodness in others; preferably with a lot less drama involved.
