A biotechnology park on par with some of the world’s best science parks. Sited where there is access and connectivity via 2 airports, 5 seaports, one railway and a network of freeways. The park is to cater for biotechnology companies through various clusters – administrative, industrial, logistics, medical park, edu city, a harbour, theme park and residences. Bio-Xcell is the system used to develop a state-of-the-art biotechnology ecosystem over and around the strategic clusters of anchor tenants.

The design concept development revolves around a 100% green building approach. Design elements and materials are selected to utilize solar energy in the most efficient manner. A “green canopy” over the central Eco System park is in fact a photovoltaic cell roof, which reduces heat gain through roof exposure while reducing the energy load on cooling systems. Cluster buildings are equipped with “eco green” walls which support structures for climbing plants. The administrative and welcome centre has a flexible layout to allow for various training facilities. Other building features include shared labs, incubation facilities and a standard shell scheme.
