A design proposal for a joint venture between the Iranian Authorities and a local Malaysian company to explore the possibility to jointly develop a strategic piece of land next to the Milad Telecommunication Tower in Tehran. The Milad Tower, a 435 meters (1,427ft) tall telecommunication and observation tower which was under construction at that time.

Plans were underway to make this area as a Tourist, Shopping, Exhibition, Conference and Commercial Development of Tehran and having the Telecommunication Tower as an attraction.

Our approach is to create an axis linking to the Milad Tower that shall be seen as an iconic structure. The axis shall be comprised of different components; i.e. hotel, office tower, convention center and shopping mall and the tower entrance. A central boulevard or plaza is created between these buildings to add outdoor landscape space for people to experience as well as the view of the city, the buildings and the surrounding landscape. The placement and the shape of the hotel and office buildings is adapting the emblem of Iran which can be found on its flag.
