As the picturesque setting to the overall theme of the master planning of Lot 7B, the highlight is the southern area of the site as the Cultural Zone, houses the cultural complex nearby as well as providing the people’s facilities that include contemporary bazaars, convention centres and to complement the high rise structure is the business and commercial area that sits on the northern portion.

The built represents sculptural elements in the garden setting with emphasis and differentiation to:

i- The “Floating Mosque” as special structure that are unique, modern and inviting using the water as the main element to the setting

ii- The Bazaar and the souk building ala “Pekan Rabu”, shopping and commercial area expressed using circular repository that expressed on its form and facade treatment

iii- The commercial and high rise buildings are expressed as modern and simple sculpture that respond to the environment through the treatment of its facades

The whole master planning of Lot 7B is based on the design concept “SCULPTURES IN THE GARDENS”, creating parks and greens allowing the users to feel the seamless experience from the built environment that blends with the gardens and buildings are expressed as special “structures” within this special garden.

Green planes from the datum making it way to the green roof almost like a continuous extension of the park allowing both various activities recreational and setting for al fresco dining.

Emphasis has been given to provide greens and parks, both active and passive elements within a park that merges into the built forms.
